Where Stories & Time Intersect
From 1934 to 1979, street photographer Foncie Pulice snapped thousands of photos of people strolling down Vancouver’s city sidewalks. Many of these photos still exist in peoples’ homes around the province. This website aims to bring these photos together in a public forum and encourages visitors to upload their Foncie photos and stories into the online collection.
These photos will be used in the creation of a series of films to be broadcast on Knowledge Network in June 2013. There will also be a physical exhibition of the photos at the Museum of Vancouver.
